Standard Appointments
Standard appointments are 20 minutes. If you require a longer appointment, please let the reception staff know when booking your appointment. Longer appointments need to be made for multiple medical problems, counselling, medicals or forms that need to be completed by a GP.
Multiple Appointments
Multiple appointments are needed if more than one family member wishes to see the doctor at the same time. Please ensure a separate appointment is made for each family member.
Cancellations
We appreciate your ability to let us know if you are unable to attend an appointment. 24 hours’ notice is preferable.
Referrals & Prescriptions
An appointment needs to be made with your doctor for referrals or prescriptions. Please note that referrals cannot be back dated, as this is illegal.
Workers Compensation / Third Party
If you require an appointment for either of these, please ensure that all details of either the employer or insurance company involved are brought with you to the appointment, and the account will be sent to them. Failure to provide these details will obligate you to pay the fee.
Weekend Appointments
Our ETMC surgery is open for appointments on weekends - please refer to the ETMC opening hours. After hour fees apply for appointments after 1:00pm Saturday and all day Sunday.
